Hideki Okugawa (奥河 英樹) is a video game music composer best known for being composer of all three incarnations of Street Fighter III, especially 3rd Strike, the third and final revision. He joined in 1993, where his first tracks were for early CPS2 title Alien vs. Predator.
He followed suit with other CPS2 titles such as Darkstalkers (with Takayuki Iwai), Mega Man: The Power Battle (with Setsuo Yamamoto) and Street Fighter III (with Yuki Iwai). During this time he was usually credited by his alias, Hideki OK.
Okugawa is renowned for spearheading the jazz component in Capcoms sound team, variations including jungle, acid and drum n bass. He has also incorporated Japanism and rock styes on occasion.
Following his work on the Street Fighter series, Okugawa became involved in other series produced by the company, including Onimusha (2001-2004), Dead Rising (2005-2006), Ace Attorney (2007) and Resident Evil (2008-2009).
