“You could barely see Matt Gresham’s hand moving across the guitar as he played this gig just like a hoe-down in an outback country barn. Playing to a home crowd, Gresham showed exuberant energy on stage as his whole body jumped with the music and he looked like he was actually part of the guitar. The 21 year old mixed up the set by playing songs from his latest album ‘June‘, released at the end of last year, as well as his last album ‘The Recipe’. His classic song, ‘Jack and Jill’, was one of the strongest songs in the set that night and had audience members echoing Gresham as he held out the microphone for this blues and roots style song.”..Karen Murphy space ship news
