WARCURSED was formed in 2004, initially as Megadeth cover band. The line-up at that stage already had Jean Philippe (bass), Richard Senko (Guitar) and Marsell Senko (Drums).   After some time playing as a cover band, the songs began to emerge own and willingness to form a band completely authorial increased. At the time, before calling up WARCURSED, the quartet went by the name of Post Mortem.   Even as Post Mortem in 2006 had been started with the first record of the band, that would be a demo, which came to be called “Gates of War”, performing some gigs in the cities of Campina Grande and Joao Pessoa, Paraiba both.   In early 2008, after some testing, behold Jean Philippe assumed the posts of vocalist and bassist. After some testing with the new lineup, the WARCURSED again perform some concerts in and outside the state of Paraíba.   In early March 2010, WARCURSED started the pre-production of the first Full Length entitled “Escape From Nightmare”. The theme of the letters found in the material are focused on social problems, involving wars, religion, insanity and existential problems, all wrapped in the guise of musical Death / Thrash Metal.   In 2011, despite delays in the WARCURSED made several recordings show several northeastern cities, participating in festivals like Scream and Rock Festival World.   In 2012 was the independently released “Escape From Nightmare” and WARCURSED started their first tour, which went through several cities in the Northeast, and also participating in various festivals like Rock the Stage (Salvador-BA), Rock Cordel (Sousa- PB, Teresina, PI and Vitória da Conquista, Bahia), Dosol (Mossoró-RN) and Titans of Metal (Teresina-PI).   With the wide public acceptance of the Full Length, along with the WARCURSED MS Metal Records will re-launch in 2013 the “Escape From Nightmare” with some bonus tracks and will release the second CD that had emerged in the second half of 2013.   With a 2012 with several shows, from virtually every state in the Northeast, the WARCURSED in 2013 will continue to publicize their work both in Brazil and abroad.
