详细Born in Moscow into a family of musicians, Maria Milstein (1985) studied in Amsterdam Conservatory with Ilya Grubert and in London with David Takeno, receiving the highest possible grades for her Bachelor and Master diplomas. Between 2011 and 2014 Maria was Artist in Residence at the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel in the class of Augustin Dumay. Maria is a prizewinner of major international competitions and awards such as "Città di Brescia" and "Premio Rodolfo Lipizer" in Italy, the ARD Competition in Munich and the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition with the Van Baerle Trio, the Concertgebouw Vriendenkrans Competition and the Kersjes Prize in the Netherlands. In February 2016 Maria is awarded a fellowship by the prestigious Borletti-Buitoni Trust. Maria performs extensively in the Netherlands and abroad, and appeared as a soloist with the National Orchestra of Belgium, the Brussels Philharmonic, the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonie, the Musica Viva Orchestra and Amsterdam Sinfonietta. In 2017 Maria will make her debut with the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra of the Netherlands conducted by Vasily Petrenko. Maria's début CD « Sounds of War », recorded with pianist Hanna Shybayeva and featuring Sonatas by Poulenc, Janáček and Prokofiev, is released in January 2015 on Cobra Records; the album received lavish reviews in the international press, and recently won an Edison Klassiek Award in the category Chamber Music. Maria works with conductors such as Michel Tabachnik, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, Christian Arming, Christopher Warren-Green, Alexander Rudin, Reinbert de Leeuw and Ivan Meylemans; a highly appreciated chamber musician, she plays together with renowned colleagues such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, Gary Hoffman, Hannes Minnaar, Philippe Graffin, Liza and Dmitri Ferschtman and Alexander Kniazev. Together with pianist Hannes Minnaar and cellist Gideon den Herder Maria forms the Van Baerle Trio, one of Netherlands' most successful ensembles. The Trio received the highest prizes at the ARD Competition in Munich and the Lyon International Chamber Music Competition, and won the Vriendenkrans Competition and the Kersjes Prize in the Netherlands. In 2014 the Trio made the ECHO Rising Stars Tour, which brought them to famous concert halls such as Musikverein in Vienna, Cité de la Musique in Paris, Bozar in Brussels, Barbican in London or the Philharmonie of Cologne. The début CD of the Trio featuring works by Saint-Saëns, Loevendie and Ravel won the Edison Klassiek in 2013. In September 2014 the Trio released a second CD with piano trio's by Mendelssohn on Challenge Records. Since September 2014 Maria holds a teaching position at the Amsterdam Conservatory. Maria plays on a violin by Michel Angelo Bergonzi (Cremona, ca. 1750) on loan from the Dutch Musical Instruments Foundation.
