D-Stroy (born David Melendez; June 27, 1975) is an American hip hop Host, rapper, DJ, producer and actor of Puerto Rican descent. He is a founding member of and current CEO of Play Big Inc. and a former artist of Matador Records, D-Stroy began his career in music as a member of the Touch and D-Stroy with DJ Tony Touch.[1] He later found fame with the influential Underground Hip Hop group Arsonists with Q-Unique and Freestyle.[2][3] His 2001 solo debut single, "Roll Out"/"The Show Must Go On", released under Matador Records, led him to become the subject of a label dispute between Matador and Rawkus Records
