Mario Viñuela is a composer, musician and film director from Spain. He graduated in Media Studies from the University of Salamanca. He has completed courses on radio and television at Salford University in UK, and has followed editing and postproduction studies at a Film School in Madrid. He has directed several short films and videoclips, many of which have been awarded national and international prizes, to note Best Short Film at the 2010 Short Film Festival "Lumiere" in Cartagena de Indias (Colombia) and the Jury Special Mention in the 2011 Short Film Festival in Boadilla del Monte (Madrid) for the project for "Jaque" directed by Iker Franco. After composing, producing and playing in and for different pop and rock bands, he has composed music for television for Disney XD, Canal Boing, Cartoon Network and Canal Crimen e Investigación. In 2012 Viñuela composed, produced and edited two instrumental records. His first production as a solo interpreter, "El umbral de las emociones", has been turned into a sheet music book by Ap Música. In 2013 he edited, also with Ap Música, a second book, "Piano Works". In 2014 he publishes his third instrumental record, and composes the original sound track for the film Todo el tiempo del mundo, directed by José Antonio Quirós, AMAS award for Best Film Music 2015.
