The Allergies have made it their mission to take vintage sounds and reshape them for the modern dancefloor. Since forming in 2012 the Bristol-based duo have racked up three EPs, compilation appearances, a handful of remixes, and won over crowds from Greece to Bestival. In 2015 they were snapped up by Jalapeno Records, and are now primed and ready to drop their debut album, As We Do Our Thing. The hotly anticipated LP takes in funk, soul, disco, hip-hop and breakbeat influences, and will feature guest appearances from HypeMan Sage and Ugly Duckling’s Andy Cooper, who also graces the lead single and video, Rock Rock.
